Be acknowledged for where you are and who you are - now, not just in the future.
Life with ADHD is in “advanced” mode, and that deserves recognition. In this space, you are honored for having to work 10x harder than most just to stay afloat. Your effort deserves celebration!
You may not know it, but your story is already a treasure.
Women just like you need to hear they’re not alone. Sharing your story here is destined to help someone else feel brave enough to say “me too.”
Make it make sense.
Learning about ADHD (whether it’s new to you or not) can be a confusing mix of information and feelings. Here, we’ll sort through it all together and help you make sense of the mess.
You're part of a bigger mission now.
We’re here to change the global conversation about ADHD - to shift it from a deficit to a strength-based model. Your story shows the world how to do that, and provides inspiration for countless other women and girls. (Yes, even if you don’t feel inspiring right now - you will soon!)
The main aim of our chat is to have fun and share real stories! We promise to hold a fun, kind conversation; there are no hard-hitting journalists or drill instructors here. You know how ADHD conversations go – there might be a few tangents, most likely a few forgotten thoughts, and a lot of humor and perspective.
You ready?
No problem! There's a space in the application form to note that, and we promise to honor your requests.
We’re talking to two types of people: women who have ADHD (or think they do), and the professionals who support them (like therapists, doctors, etc.). Both of these guest types will help us expand and shift the worldwide conversation about ADHD to one of strength instead of deficit. You’ll be a part of something bigger: helping the world understand that bringing our differences together makes us all better. Understanding each other and bringing our unique gifts to bear makes for better homes, workplaces, schools and more.
If you’re a woman navigating life on “advanced” mode (aka, with ADHD), your story will make others like you feel less alone. It’s important for us to acknowledge the struggles as well as the gifts, and for others to see themselves in you. There’s nothing like the feeling of hearing someone else give voice to feelings and needs we thought were ours alone.
A lot of us with ADHD are entrepreneurs as well. If that’s you, and/or if you’re a professional supporting us, you’ll have a chance to showcase your business to people who need your work. Our audience is full of well-educated, decision-making women with financial authority, and they’re always on the lookout for top quality goods and services.
Let’s budget about 90 minutes. That will give us a little time to chat and “warm up” first, check the tech, and have a great conversation with room for side quests. Many conversations won’t take that long, and we can make it shorter if you need, but being rushed doesn’t always yield the best product. After editing, episodes will likely be 30-45 minutes. And hey, if we finish up early, you get BONUS FREE TIME! Woohoo!
Nope, not a single one. It won’t cost you a dime, and there are no strings attached. We will never share your contact information with anyone, unless you have a business you want to promote on the podcast.
We are so grateful to have an amazing response, but the volume of applications (on top of a busy coaching schedule) means we can only take a limited number of the most qualified applicants.
It's only a few minutes, promise! Do it now, before the next distraction arrives!
Yay! You’re ready to apply to be an ADHD Alchemy podcast guest and we can’t wait to meet you! This should only take about 5-10 minutes.
Please answer in as much detail as you can, but don’t worry about making answers ‘perfect.’ Just say what comes to mind first and from the heart.
Please note: you are welcome to remain anonymous to listeners. We’ll need to collect your contact information to conduct the interview, but if you let us know, we’ll make sure to keep your name private on the podcast.
If there are super-sensitive ADHD topics that you will not want to discuss, please let us know that too so we can avoid them.
